BMES Distinguished Service Award

The BMES Distinguished Service Award is presented periodically to recognize members who have made extraordinary contributions to the Society. Nominations may be made by any BMES member or by the BMES President or Executive Director, subject to approval by the Awards Committee.

Past Award Recipients

Kyriacos A. Athanasiou, Frank C-P Yin, Shu Chien, Jerry Collins, Herbert F. Voigt, PhD, Robert Hochmuth, Daniel Schneck, Steven Slack, Kay Lyou, John Lyman, Eugene Yates, James Bassingthwaighte, Hun Sun, Fred Weibell.

This award consists of a plaque and a complimentary annual meeting registration.  The award will be presented to the awardee at the BMES Town Hall Meeting & Awards Ceremony at BMES Annual Meeting. 

Any nomination should be submitted to BMES before or by  May 31^st  of each year.  Electronic submission is strongly recommended. Please email your submission or questions to regina@bmes.org.
